It’s the end of another summer and it reminded me of summers in the Bronx growing up listening to our transiter radios and the hits of the summer that was a real thing that is not the way it is today. Today people are on their phones and hanging out at the park, corner store or in front of a friend’s house that has been become the mall. I remember the Top 40 Hit Parades with countdowns on the weekends. So here is my summers Top 40 in Salsa and Top 40 in Latin Jazz lists. You may not know many of these song’s but you should get to know them because they are the hits you’ll remember 20 to 30 years from now.
